Christopher Anton is an American singer, songwriter, and electronic musician best known as the former vocalist of the legendary synthpop band Information Society.
In January 2006, Anton auditioned for and was selected as the new lead singer for Information Society, joining original members Paul Robb and James Cassidy. Together they recorded the EP "Oscillator" and the critically acclaimed album "Synthesizer" (2007), which reached the top 5 on Germany's DAC album chart.
During 2006-2007, Anton performed as frontman for Information Society at major venues across Oregon, California, New York, New Jersey, and Brazil — performing for crowds of up to 20,000 people.
Prior to Information Society, Anton founded the alternative synth-rock band Pseudocipher in 1998, releasing albums including the self-titled debut and "Fragments of Empathy" (2003).
As a solo artist, Anton gained international recognition with his dance cover of Visage's "Fade to Grey", which hit #1 on pmachinery.com. His debut solo album "Destination: X" was released in July 2010 on A Different Drum Records.
